A good move my Mindef as per said by Defense Minister that they will seek guidelines from the scholars and authorized Islamic bodies so that the Warriors Day ceremony will not turned unislamic.

Guidelines sought from JAKIM and National Fatwa Council to overcome accusation that putting the ceremony at National Monument as an idolazation alike act when respect was paid by bowing head down and garlanding.

The monument was built to commemorate the armed forces personel who had died in protecting the country during the battle against the Communist terrorist.
Zahid Hamidi confirmed that this year celebration will be held at Putrajaya.
